Guarantees are based on the claims paying ability of S.USA. Guaranteed Withdrawal Benefit Payments are taxed as ordinary income, and reduce the policy’s Accumulation Value, but you will continue to receive these payments for your lifetime even if your Accumulation Value declines to zero unless excess withdrawals cause the rider to terminate. Withdrawals taken prior to age 59 1/2 may be subject to a 10% tax penalty. Consult your tax advisor regarding the full tax consequences of exercising benefits under these riders.
